Phoenix Ornithopter Kit

Phoenix adds a soft foam head and beak to our introductory ornithopter kits. Like the other bird kits, it has a 16 inch wingspan and weighs about 1/4 ounce. You should build the Gryphon or Bluebird before you attempt this more challenging ornithopter kit.

You can customize your Phoenix ornithopter by decorating it with permanent markers. The lower photo shows some great wing artwork that was done by one of our customers, Alexandra Flock. Perfect for demonstration flights, the brightly colored flapping wings of the Phoenix get a lot of attention.
