The Crossbow RC Ornithopter has been redesigned, giving
it a more bird-like appearance! The original Crossbow was
the first radio-controlled, flapping-wing aircraft kit with
a sleek fiberglass body and modular gear unit. The new version
has the same high-efficiency wing and reliable glide capability
as the original. Instead of the airplane style tail, it now
has a bird-like tail and shorter body, making it look more
like a real bird!
Details
can be sculpted onto the fiberglass body with lightweight
foam clay, resulting in an even more lifelike appearance!

2 ornithopter is a kit that requires assembly. It comes
with clearly written, illustrated instructions. The Crossbow
2 RC ornithopter is recommended for those who have some prior
experience building RC planes, and experience flying with
ailerons. The Crossbow 2 RC ornithopter is made in the United
States.
The
Crossbow 2 RC ornithopter requires
a 1000mAh, 11.1 volt lithium battery, a 10 amp brushless ESC,
and an RC system with two Hitec HS-82MG servos or similar.
A powerful outrunner brushless motor is included.
You
will be able to adjust the amount of dihedral and choose among
five different gear ratios. The flapping amplitude can also
be modified as shown in
